Adding a custom-icon to bootstrap3

Hi, I have used illustrator and the icomoon app to create a custom font - so i know have a folder with the following folders demo files, fonts, ie7 and the following files:demo.html, Read me txt, selection.json and style.css. I am in the process of putting together a bootstrap 3 web site- which of these files do I need, where do I put them, how do I call them and what is the html to add the icon?
