Adding app icons

How did he drag the icons from the window they were in into Xcode?

I downloaded the images, saved them to my TreeHouse folder then went to Xcode > File > Documents > App Icons > Open and the message "Xcode does not support opening folders without a project or workspace" appeared. I then saved the App Icons folder directly in Xcode and it was part of my project files in the Project Navigator. When I opened the folder it listed all 6 icons but I couldn't copy & paste nor drag them anywhere. I deleted the folder from Xcode.

Well, what I did was just open the folder in finder, then drag them over from there.
