Adding event listener on an arrow to scroll down to the next section of a website.

Hello everyone. I have a question. I have seen few websites with arrow in the middle or bottom of the page. When you click on it, it scrolls down to the next section of the site. How can I add effect like that to my website or is there a name for it?

You should look for easing effect like here and everywhere: https://css-tricks.com/snippets/jquery/smooth-scrolling/
