Adding Friends by Tapping on a Table View Cell

Hi,

I have some discrepancies when I type in the code from the video. Im using Xcode 5.0.2 which differs from the one in the video, so that may be the cause, however, when I click on the added friends, checkmark only appears when I deselect the row (selecting other friends). And maybe related to that, in the Parse.com Dashboard I don't have the same behavior as in video when I select my name (nothing changes). What might be the cause of these differences in behavior?

Hope my question here is clear enough.

you probably implemented the didDeselectRowAtIndexPath instead of didSelectRowAtIndexPath. Double check your method name

Its didSelectRowAtIndexPath definitely. The row is selected, but the checkmark only appears when i click on some other contact. I know it sounds weird... It looks that way too.

Hi,

After re-re-checking the code, I realized it was "didDeselect..."... My apologies to Stone Preston, and thanks for pointing that out.

A simple and common mistake! Glad you got it working (thanks, Stone)!
