Adding getter to get color of goKart

How to write code

GoKart.java
public class GoKart
{

  private String mColor = "red";

public class String getColor()
 {
  return mColor;
  }

}

1 Answer

You need to remove the word 'class' from the getter.

That way you are actually trying to create a subclass instead of a method which will return the color.

public class GoKart {
    private String mColor = "red";

    public String getColor() {
        return mColor;
      }
}
