Adding, instead of inserting, subview challenge

The challenge instructions are:

Add the UIImageView as a subview to the instance of UIView named 'catView'.

My Code is

UIImage *image = [UIImage imageNamed:@"lolcat.png"];
UIImageView *imageView = [[UIImageView alloc] initWithImage:image];
[self.imageView addSubview:(UIView *)catView];

The third line is not working, and I can't figure out why. Help would be appreciated!
