I don't understand what I'm doing wrong for task 3. I input .profile-photo{display:block;} but it keeps marking it as wrong.

The Css looks right. The below Css worked for me, I don't think the structure of the css should matter. I would blame the html but that should be correct considering it was part of a previous challenge. Did you swap to the css tab ? If so I would reload the page and try again.

or
.profile-photo{display:block;}
I like his suggestion about checking to make sure you put it in the CSS file instead of the html... It's also entirely possible that you're failing for a reason unrelated to this. We will be better able to diagnose your problem when you copy the question/error message/answer into the forum so we can see it.
