107 PointsAdding to panda question
So I have tried every iteration on the string. I am not a beginner to the idea of classes and methods.
However every single thing i do bounce back an error when adding the string Bao Bao eats bamboo. The name is not defined, yet when I define it it is sending back an error.
class Panda:
species = 'Ailuropoda melanoleuca'
food = 'bamboo'
def __init__(self, name, age):
self.name = name
self.age = age
self.is_hungry = True
def eat(self):
self.is_hungry = False
return

36,427 PointsHi Michael!
This passes all 3 tasks:
class Panda:
species = 'Ailuropoda melanoleuca'
food = 'bamboo'
def __init__(self, name, age):
self.name = name
self.age = age
self.is_hungry = True
def eat(self):
self.is_hungry = False
return f"{self.name} eats {self.food}."
def check_if_hungry(self):
if self.is_hungry == True:
self.eat()
I hope that helps.
Stay safe and happy coding!
