Advice is a noun. Example: "My mentor gave me a great piece of advice to use on the job." Advise is a verb. Example: "I should advise my co-worker not to order more supplies next week."

Thanks Steve for the quick reply. Your answer will help me to remember.how to differentiate these two words.
