Courses Plus Student 8,562 PointsADT / ADT Bundle / Android Studio?
Out of curiosity & also serveral other reasons, i've decided to develop on a Mac Environment.
I have a Eclipse and i tired installing ADT plugin, everything works, but the course and videos are shown on ADT bundle which has a slightly different Controls compared to the video, i had some trouble with it.
I tried 2 other stuffs 1st was Android Studio, it is rather interesting but it lacks in a few controls, but i like the look and feel of it. apparently Ben has yet to have the video based on Android Studio "I Hope Soon?".
i also downloaded from the TreeHouse's ADT Bundle and attempted to launch in the Mac OS X Maverick, i could not let it work because, Java 6 is no longer available for download? I have Java 7 and 8. looked at Google the best i got was to change some setting but its not working maybe you guys could help me?
Notes: this is one of the resource i found but it is not working for me. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/22206580/mavericks-and-adt-keeps-asking-for-java-6
If someone could point out where i missed out would be really helpful and i could continue the course of Android Development. :D

1,960 PointsThats weird, have you tried using the ADT last version ? download it from http://developer.android.com/sdk/ There are some things that may vary if you compare the updated ADT with the videos ADT but is essentially the same. Myself personally started the treehouse android course using the last version of ADT and I have not had any major problems with the courses.
