?Advice for moving to Mac from Ubuntu

I've been using ubuntu for many years but I'm considering packing it in for a mac for a number of reasons:

  1. not having the current version of adobe flash is a real pain.

  2. genymotion/virtualBox does not run dependably.

  3. I'm moving to a place with less access to hardware and system savy.

How is it using Android Studio/Genymotion on a mac? What model mac would you recommend?
