This is my first project. Although we haven't discussed costs and stuff, I know it will be almost free haha. Its a friend of a friend an I think more than anything this will add to my profile work and experience.
I have attached the email she sent me with there requirements and was wondering what some of you would recommend. How should I approach this and what should I use.
My skills are in HTML, CSS and some JS and Wordpress.
I think I could make a site on WP. This will allow them to modify content and themes.
EMAIL: "Hi Arturo, We are looking to create a new website as the current one doesn't meet our needs. Here is what we are looking for:
- being able to modify the background as we change the theme of our shows
- easy to add new pages and organised them as we need to when we need to.
- something modern and attractive
- Main attendees are families, aviation enthusiasts and people just liking good shows.
- inexpensive to host
- simple for the public to navigate through
Check out the current website for the topics that would be on the website. If there was a way that we can keep the info from previous shows that would be great so people can checkout our show history. I just can't currently make any changes other than the content and that is very annoying to me.
Let me know what you can help with as my goal is to cancel our current website hosting provider."
Don't hesitate to ask any questions that you may have.

Treehouse TeacherHi Arturo,
I agree - I would build this site on WordPress. This seems like the easiest way to give them the features they want and extend those features with WordPress plugins if needed.
