After installing Genesis and the sample site and activating the sample site my site looks messed up?

I'm working locally using Mamp. This is a screen shot of the front end after activating the sample site.

I resolved this problem by doing another clean install.

It happens every time, or almost. It puts all of the widgets in the header-right widget area. Just move them out.
