After I've installed WP, how do I merge my old posts and everything so it's on the new site?

Oh no! I'm really worried. I just installed and set up my new self hosted wordpress account, but none of the posts or anything from my previous wordpress hosted site came with! i owned the domain name when I was hosting the site through wordpress, and all of the old stuff is still there if I log into my website through wordpress, but I want it all on the self hosted site. Can anyone help me with that?

Hi Micaela,

You can easily use the import/export feature within Wordpress to move all your data to the self-hosted site. I linked you an article that will walk you through this.

Thanks for your help!

I believe the following link will answer your question:

Moving WordPress

I hope the link will help with your situation!

You're in luck. Zac just released a brand-new course where he covers how to move from WP-hosted to self-hosted.
