after putting in a link element to normalize css no style element has any effect

This also seems to be happening to me and I asked a related question above. Both the normalize and main css files appear to be doing nothing for me. I know not helpful to you, but maybe to someone looking to answer.

Thanks Daniel, Just read your Q & A's I haven't found my answer yet. If it helps I was told normalize css no longer takes out bullets by default. I expect we will find other discrepancies too. Probably next to imposable to keep the video lessons completely up to date. I expect the "community" will be our best resource.
