After Treehouse, Thinkful or Ben Hunt Pro Web Design?

Hello Guys!

I am married have a daughter and only one year to gain enough education to preferably start my own business or start a job.

Here is my plan to learn front end web development.

Web Design Track,

Front end Development Track,

Php

Learn Wordpress,

WordPress development Track - Developing sites from themes

Starting your own business track

My question is what should I do next? I believe that without a strong portfolio I can't get hired or attract customers. For that I believe thinkful.com is a good choice. However I also am impressed from Ben Hunt Pro Web Design course (which focuses more on marketing skills than design). I want to ask which one should I choose. Also without any bias I want a suggestion that is Teamtreehouse enough and should I just start finding work after completing these tracks and care less about having a portfolio?

I'm confident if you spent enough time watching the videos provided by Treehouse and then watched again the courses/videos you're not so comfortable with you'll have enough to start building a few of your own personal projects you can put in your portfolio.

First starting out can be difficult but ask around and explain to a local business you'd be willing to maintain or update their site for free or at a reduced fee because it's a new area for you. You don't need to explain how new you are but explain there will be certain areas of the role you've never done, so that's the reason. I did this myself and found a few clients to build my portfolio with.
