I'm the AJAX Basics teacher! I've just joined the Treehouse Team and am excited to launch this new course within the next few weeks.
I come to Treehouse with a lot of teaching and web development experience. I'm also the author of a few books from O'Reilly including JavaScript & jQuery: The Missing Manual, and CSS: The Missing Manual.

22,989 PointsI actually own the CSS and PHP missing manual books! I personally love them and it's been on my list to not only learn JS&Jquery, but to buy that last book so I had a complete collection.
The only reason I have not bought the book is because I heard it was more design than development JS and I really want to learn the development side of JS. I am excited for AJAX because while I have seen very little of it myself, I have been very impressed by it, especially the sending and retrieving of information without refreshing a page.
I really like the videos you have done so far and I look forward to the AJAX videos that will come out soon! :D
