AJAX: when you sent the data like $.post('xxx.php', data); can you echo it out in in the same xxx.php file?

AJAX: (newbie here)...Helo treehouse! when i sent the data like $.post('xxx.php', data); can i echo it out or use the data in the same file directory where i sent it which is xxx.php?

You can not echo out what the page said on the page because the request is sent a-sync with the browser.

You can, however, view the output that the page gives back. You learn how to do it late in the course.
