Align a div within a div vertically

Hey all, doing some playing around again. Starting to get a hang of some of this CSS stuff. Here's what I am trying to do. Align a div within a div vertically. This is snippet im playing with.http://cdpn.io/gDFsa As you can see I have the div aligned using the margintop scenario. Which works. I have also tried using the tablecell scenario in the parent Div with verticalalign, but when testing this in the browser the cell collapses. What am I missing? Thanks

Hey Sanjana, Sorry so long on response. So looking back it doesn't appear I see the results you typed in with codepen. The link is taking me to the original document I created. Thanks
