Hi Abdul,

You're almost there. Ditch the html().

$(this).prepend("<input type='checkbox'/>");

That is because if you prepend a string the html still get's interpreted in the browser. Try it please.

Hey Abdul Azeez , you are doing correct , just remove the word html from there.
When , you will use the prepend method , you will not used .html method.
Here is the syntax of .prepend method-

.prepend( content [, content ] )

where content can be htmlString or Element or Text or Array or jQuery
Hence , you actual code will be -

$('.favorite-things li').each(function() {
  // Write code here
  $(this).prepend("<input type='checkbox'/>");
});
