Python Django Forms Forms Create a Validator

Challenge Task 2 of 2 Alright, now that we have the validator, we need to use it!

Add the not_treehouse validator to LeadShareForm's email field. Remember, validators is an iterable.

def not_treehouse(value):
        if "@teamtreehouse.com".lower() in value.lower():
            raise forms.ValidationError('hey!!')
        return value

class LeadShareForm(forms.Form):
    email = forms.EmailField()
    link = forms.URLField()
    honeypot = forms.CharField(widget=forms.HiddenInput, required=False)
    def clean_honeypot(self):
        honey = self.cleaned_data['honeypot']
        if len(honey):
            raise forms.ValidationError('Bad robot!')
        return honey

If you watch the previous video @3:09 or follow the link in the teacher's notes you can find some examples of what the task is asking.

Here is one:

from django import forms

class MyForm(forms.Form):
    even_field = forms.IntegerField(validators=[validate_even])

This adds the validate_even validator to the even_field field.

The task wants you to add the not_treehouse validator to the email field. So using the above you would have

email = forms.EmailField(validators=[not_treehouse])
