Ruby Ruby Collections Ruby Hashes Hash Methods

am having trouble with the method hash task. any help

Am having a problem with this: Using the merge method, create a hash named final_item that contains the grocery_item hash merged with the calories hash.

grocery_item = { "item" => "Bread", "quantity" => 1, "brand" => "Treehouse Bread Company" } calories = { "calories" => 100 }

final_item = { "item" => "Bread", "quantity" => 1, "brand" => "Treehouse Bread Company" }

final_item.merge({"calories" })

hash.rb
grocery_item = { "item" => "Bread", "quantity" => 1, "brand" => "Treehouse Bread Company" }
calories = { "calories" => 100 }

final_item = { "item" => "Bread", "quantity" => 1, "brand" => "Treehouse Bread Company" }

final_item.merge({"calories" => 100})

I found a solution to the problem in the code. This did the trick.

final_item = grocery_item.merge(calories)
