Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types String Formatting

Am I doing something wrong here?

name = "Kyle" subject = "Treehouse loves {}" subject.format(name)

When I do this in console it works fine, I just don't quite get what I need to do to pass the test.

name = "Kyle"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}"

that is odd if you write it in one line it will work

subject = "stuff {}".Format(name)

Thanks, right after I posted the question I tried just that. There are many ways to skin a cat.
