Am I listening to a robot?

Just curious, anyone whom went to the iOS lecture by Amit ever felt the same? Apparently I found the voice behind the scene sounding very...robotic? it's just, the way it handles the word-to-word pauses and EndOfLine pauses were all unthinkably ACCURATE, well at least far more accurate than any mankind I've ever heard.

Or is that just my illusion...
