Android Backend: Bluemix instead of Parse?

Dear Forum, I just got landed an Android app development contract (Thank you TreeHouse!!), but the owners insist on using IBM's Bluemix PaaS (platform as a service) instead of Parse which is being treated thoroughly here on ThreeHouse. I looked through the documentation, but since Bluemix is very new, the documentation is still very bad and it seems hard to google anything. Should I cross my fingers and hope that I can figure out Bluemix, or should I insist on using Parse?

Thanks!
