16,635 PointsAndroid Crystal Ball App Help
Hello,
I've downloaded the files for the Crystal Ball app and I'm at the point in the video when Ben creates a new AVD device. I'm following verbatim everything he does on the screen, but I keep getting the following errors in the Eclipse console
[2013-12-14 14:28:35 - SDK Manager] Error: Target location is not inside the SDK. [2013-12-14 14:28:35 - SDK Manager] Failed to set image path properties in the AVD folder.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Treehouse TeacherHi Jason,
You might be able to configure some settings in Eclipse to get this working. In the Eclipse menu bar, go to Windows > Preferences and select "Android" on the left. You then need to make sure the SDK location is correctly pointing to the android-sdk-windows folder inside your unzipped bundle folder. You may need to browse to reset it (it's supposed to be set automatically).
Otherwise...the Treehouse bundle has been a little buggy for Windows users lately. Your best bet will probably be to switch to the bundle from the Android developer site instead. Check out this older Forum post for help.

2,627 PointsGo to the link below and download the bundle. I am using this bundle without any problem. It's slow sometimes but so far it's working for me.

16,635 PointsThanks for the replies guys! I did end up downloading the Android SDK in between now and the time I posted my questions and it seems to have resolved the problems. Thanks again!
