Android Data Persistence

Would it be a good idea to take the database foundations course before this one? I have already done all of the other courses in the Android Development track, and was wondering: would it help to take that course? I know it's a little more in-depth, but would the SQL instruction give a background or would it be better to take the Data Persistence course before the Database Foundations course?
