Android emulator for windows 64 bit is not working hlp

hi i need some help m and my friend are new to coding and are only in 14 when i finish changing thee text and run the emulator it does'nt load its just black the i waited for 2 hours and it does't work same with my friend and my dad said he will stop paying if i don't progress so please help =(

Glad you're here, Ashton, but sorry you're having trouble! It sounds like you are having a problem with your emulator. It can be kind of buggy sometimes.

Your best bet might be trying out a different emulator called Genymotion. It's actually a much better emulator. It might sound confusing, but it's easy to use if you follow along with another short tutorial I made about it: http://teamtreehouse.com/library/android-tools/getting-started-with-genymotion
