I just want to give the information about Amazon Appstore .When I sign up today, it asks me about Tax Identity. In the lecture, we have 3 tabs, Profile Info, Developer License Agreement, Royalty Payment. Now, there are 4 tabs. New "Tax Identity" tab to enter the tax.

Treehouse TeacherHi May,
This new tab is about tax information for paid apps. Here's the link on the Amazon FAQs about it. It sounds like you don't need to provide it for free apps, but I haven't published anything myself there since this has been put in place. I'll take a look. In the mean time, would you mind replying here with your experience if you are publishing a free app? Did you need to provide your information?

4,561 PointsHello, I'm trying to publish a free app but it asks me to fill the information. As I am a Non US citizen, I fill in all my information and I've got this reply email message.
"Your tax identity has been successfully validated with the IRS and your tax status has been updated to 'Complete'. "
Yes. I provided my information
