I have a project that works fine on my phone and on the emulator. I tried to upoload to google play but get, "You uploaded debuggable" I have done the following: in manifest...android:debuggable="false" in BuildConfig.java I changed Build Tyoe to release from debug I opend Build Varients and changed from debug to release

I have cleaned, rebuild, then generate signed apk. Still google tells me Its debuggable...HELP!!!

Weird....after closing the project, reopening, cleanining, nad building again. it worked...

Glad you got it working! Sounds like something was cached in Android Studio. Guess we can chalk this up to a bug in a beta release.
