244 PointsAndroid Studio Installation Error
I was extracting all of the files for the android studio zip and it said error and I kept clicking try again and it wasn't working. I went back to my downloads and noticed there was an unzipped file. I went to it, went to bin, and when I looked at the studio64 file, in the video, it said studio64 but for me it says studio64.exe Please help. I would like to know if this still will function okay, thanks!

Courses Plus Student 257 PointsTry installing Android Studio via the official method, by going to this link; http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html click the download button I agree. Launch the android-studio-bundle.exe and follow the steps for set up and installation. I recommend using the default path for installation unless you have multiple hard drives on your computer and want to save them there. Also before this installation you will first need to have JDK 7 downloaded from Oracle from this link; http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk7-downloads-1880260.html , download the proper one per your operating system and weather or not its 32 or 64 bit then run the android-studio-bundle exe set up. Or elsse you will get an error.
