693 PointsAndroid to Linux
I have been asked how hard it would be to port an Android application to a non-android Linux Configuration (such as Ubantu). Can anyone provide any advice or insights into the challenges of doing this?

7,672 PointsI'm no expert. I wouldn't know the first thing about porting. But android (if I'm correct ) is based on a linux(gnu) kernel. Some people even say it is linux. So I'd assume that would make it easier (again I've never ported anything). And if you want an android app on a linux pc you can get an emulator.
