57,712 PointsI agree. Knowing how Java works does make Android development a little clearer but if you're familiar with another programming language and understand object-oriented concepts, then that would be fine too.
Otherwise, just get stuck in. If you come across something you don't understand, just ask in the forum and we'll all be here to help out.
