Annoying spacebar restarting feature.

I have literally never once pressed the spacebar on a video with the intention of being thrown back to the start of the video. Why does it restart it? It should conveniently pause/unpause it like youtube does.

Yeah, it's weird. If the video is playing then the spacebar pauses the video. If the video is paused, then the spacebar restarts the video? I would like to second your request and see it just restart the video at the same spot when paused.
