in the first quiz of memory management there is a question about which property declaration is right in case of a child-parent relationship. I thought that to be: weak. Now it says the answer is strong. Is that correct?

the question your are refering to is "Which property declaration is appropriate when defining a parent-child relationship?"
PARENT --> CHILD
...in this direction, strong is correct but in the other direction:
CHILD --> PARENT
you would have to use a weak reference to avoid a retain cycle.
