8,017 PointsAnswers for Quizzes
Hey guys, I think it would be great if there was a way that we could see the answers we had gotten wrong on the various quizzes after passing them. I know that on most of them there is only a margin of error of like one question allowed, but it would be nice if we could see the correct answer in the end, especially for the fill in the blank questions.
Thanks for the hard work though guys, because of these videos I've continually grown in web development daily.

6,808 PointsThe answer for the first blank is MVP, and the second is Build-Measure-Learn.
The second part has to be entered exactly as written to be counted as correct. I put in build, measure, learn at first and got it wrong before going back and seeing how it was written.

23,287 PointsHi Trevor
We have decided to not show the answers to quizzes because we feel it would be too easy to pass the tests and not actually learn.
It's a fine line to walk so I understand your point of view.
Thanks for being a Student!
Ryan
I find some of the quiz questions annoying and irrelevant to the actual topic. For example WordPress... I have to remember the name of the blog we're creating and the cost per year? How is this testing my WordPress knowledge.

33,450 PointsI agree that posting the answers would make it too easy to cheat and not learn, but maybe once you pass the quiz, you could show the answers? Sometime I have to take the quiz a few times but I get different questions wrong. When I finally get enough questions right to pass the quiz, I still don't know the answers to a few that I got wrong

Thanks for the reply, I can understand what you mean from that point of view.

Courses Plus Student 1,057 PointsNAH. Answers help understand questions. Like when a discovery is made, people still have to make sense of it for it to be rational. Don't hurt curiosity for the failure to present information effectively the first time.

8,325 PointsAt the very least it would be great if you could review a list on what answers you got wrong and then put links to certain sections of the review video to show where in the video this quiz question relates to.
James Barnett
39,199 PointsThat would certainly make quizzes a lower friction experience.
Of course, how would you index the thousands of videos on Treehouse so you can link to the correct time index.

23,287 PointsHi folks,
We're working on the idea of "Flash Cards" or something similar which help you review Quizzes. You would be able to see the answers, if you got them wrong. I don't know exactly when this is going to ship, but we're working on something like this.
All the best, Ryan
