Pretty much explained above, I know it's not beginner level but my company are very on top of their website optimization but the only area they are missing is DB optimization, wondered if Treehouse could give me any pointer? I'm thinking along the lines of indexing my most commonly used tables but a Treehouse course would be awesome!

229,732 PointsI wouldn't think "soon". The Modifying Data With SQL course was just released. The next database course will be Reporting With SQL. It's due later this month, but currently has no trailer and can't be bookmarked yet.
Future courses are generally announced a month or more in advance of release, and no others have been announced yet.

As Steven Parker mentioned, there are no courses in the pipeline for SQL optimization. I would point you to a couple of online references to get you headed in that direction though.

- How to Optimize a MySQL Database using phpMyAdmin
- Database optimization techniques you can actually use
That last one is a bit dated, but the concepts are sound.
