Any one know anything about mySql ?

I need help with creating a new database in phpMyAdmin. First I click on the sql link on the left side and I put ( CREAT DATABASE test ) in to the Run SQL query/queries window and then I press go it comes up with this error

Error SQL query:

CREAT DATABASE test MySQL said: Documentation

1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'CREAT DATABASE test' at line 1
