Any tips/ideas on practicing HTML & CSS

I just started learning how to do some HTML & CSS. Any ideas or tips on how to improve my skills?

Try creating small websites on your own and implement the skills you have recently learned. This is good review and can also leave you with several good websites that you may save for future use. Practice makes perfect :)

Thanks! That's a great idea!

Haesung,

Follow the TREEHOUSE videos.

Make sure you don't work through too fast or you won't retain it and you'll get frustrated. Make sure you do lots of practice 'as you go' doing things like building simple web pages once you start to take it all in.

A good idea is, after each chapter, try and write your own code using what you have learnt. You can always check the video again, or the TREEHOUSE code and the more you practice then the less you will need to check.

Don't forget you can click files and download to find the files that are connected to each video. I use notepad++ to write my code.

Good luck :-)

Yeah, I think I was going through the video way too fast. Thank you for your advice!

I agree with both Madina and warren. You may try building your own site as you go through the videos implementing what you have learned. If you see something you like on a site try placing in into your site by looking up the info.

Sound good, Don. Thanks for the help!

I'd suggest you try out ...
