Any tutorials on how to use socket.io or something like socket.io without coffee?

Is there any tutorials on making a web app / game with socket.io or something like socket.io that isn't using coffee, less, etc? I'd really only want to stick with node, express, and socket.io or something like it. I don't really want to learn even more stuff than I'm already stressed on trying to figure socket.io out, let alone while learning on how to use coffee and less. It's quite annoying.
