1,497 PointsAny way of validating your work?
I've been working hard to become a web developer and to sum it up here is what i want to know:
When I complete the web development adventure will I be able to put anything specific on a job resume to validate my knowledge?
Basically, does Tree House send you a certificate saying that you've completed "html, css, etc." and have passed the web development course?

20,126 PointsNo, Treehouse doesn't send you a certificate, but you can have the Treehouse team validate your profile. This would mean that they verify each of the activities, code challenges, and quizzes that you complete to make sure that you did in fact complete them correctly and satisfactorily.
As far as how much weight that holds to a potential employer, I don't know. Letting your portfolio and practical skills speak for themselves is a good way of validating your knowledge to potential employers. After all, what good is a diploma or a certificate if you can't actually demonstrate practical knowledge? Just keep a positive mindset and an open mind; have fun with your learning and take pride in the work you do, and you'll go far!!
That's just my two cents!
