Any way to adjust the span of this header link?

Basically, as you can see from the picture, this is how far my heading link spans. So if I click anywhere in the distance of this blue box, it returns me to the home page as this is the homepage logo. Now is there any way, without adjusting the content itself, to make this target link smaller in width? (The height is OK).

It'd be easier to answer your question if you provided the relevant CSS/HTML. I imagine giving the element a width of auto would work, but it's hard to know with just an image.
