2,903 PointsAnyone else find Amit Bijlani's video too fast and confusing?
I'm trying to understand if it's just me that is having trouble or if others also find Amit Bijlani's (specifically) IOS training videos hard to understand. It seems like all he is doing is copying, pasting, briefly explaining then moving on. Anyone else notice this?

42,016 PointsYeah the iOS foundations videos move fast. I found I had to pause a lot and read the code carefully before moving on. I thought the crystal ball app and blog reader videos didnt seem as rushed though. I guess there is just a lot of material to cover.

14,100 PointsIt is mostly there is a lot of material to cover. It is best to have running code along side the video. Watch a portion pause and try it yourself and just iterate through it. Just takes Practice!

Treehouse Guest TeacherIf you are referring to Objective-C Basics then that was taught by Douglass Turner who was a guest teacher at Treehouse.

2,903 PointsActually i'm finding Douglass Turner's Objective-C Basics extremely helpful, I hope to see him back in the future. I think part of the problem I was having with your tutorials was I wasn't quite ready for the level of material you were teaching. I'll try the tutorials again after Objective-C Basics.

Treehouse TeacherObj-C Basics should definitely help. Check out our iOS Track which has a recommended sequence of projects to work through: http://teamtreehouse.com/tracks/learn-to-build-iphone-apps
And thanks for the feedback - always let us know so we can adjust things as needed!

5,001 PointsI definitely do find it challenging, but Amit no more so than any other teacher. I find he explains things enough to understand them, and pausing to understand a concept or re-watching a part is also normal. Also, now you can slow down the video to half speed. That could be effective.
