Anyone Ever Used Wild Apricot for membership websites?

There's a software/web content management system called Wild Apricot that I'm using to build a members-only part of a website. I'm finding their UI for building the site incredibly difficult to figure out. I would go so far as to say that not only is it not user friendly, it's actively-user-hostile. Most of their help files/online workshops/etc. are focused on recruiting new members through various means rather than dealing with the site itself. And, to top it all off, there's only 5 themes that you can use, only 2 of which are responsive & all of which are incredibly bland.

In short, I hate working with this thing with the passion of a thousand fiery suns because it's such a total PIA.

Has anyone else ever worked with it who could give me some pointers or answer questions?

Have you tried a Google search for: "Wild Apricot tutorial"

I think there is also a Wild Apricot API 2 docs page (which has a link to their designers and developers forum for specific questions):

I do know how to Google things, yes. It brings up their own tutorials on things like building better board meetings online & reviews of the system that admit it's big flaw is the crappy CMS system.

Their forum is rather less than helpful, as they seem to use it more for generating suggestions for new features than for actually answering questions. Which is why I'm looking for help elsewhere.

James, I'm sorry. I'm afraid that my initial reply might have come off a bit snarky. I've just been really frustrated with this system-- it's insane.
