Anyone know where I can find a Dot Grid Network Tutorial?

Here is a great example:

I have seen this effect on a couple of different websites just browseing the internet. Was wondering if anyone knew of a place that had a tutorial on it?

Having a hard time googling for this effect. Not even really sure what to call it. Any help is much appereciated.

If you inspect the element or depending on your browser you can download the javascripts they use and look at them.

Guessing this is the basis of it http://www.fifty-five.com/wp-content/themes/fiftyfive/js/particles.js also it looks like they use HTML5 canvas to draw on.
