A "self-contained tag" is one that has no content and no separate starting and ending tags. Examples would include <img> and <input>.

But that's not what the challenge is asking for. The instructions ask for "an element that describes self-contained pieces of content". This would be an "article" element, which is a normal tag with start and end.

A self-contained or self-closing tag (I've also seen them referred to as void) is a tag that doesn't have a closing tag.

In your example the <link> is the only self-contained tag that I see.
