API for barcode scanning functionality

Hello guys! I'm trying to find which API to use for an iOS app I'm designing that needs a barcode scanner. Any ideas, has anyone tried something similar? Thanks in advance!

Hey ogechi1,

I know you can use the AV Framework to be able to do that. There's a tutorial and a sample project by Torrey Betts here infragistic.com.
