App doesn't run

So i have the emulator running, i click on the window pane with the android app graphical interface, then click "Run" --> "Run as : 1 Android Application" then nothing appears to happen, nothing runs in the console and nothing opens in the emulator..

Have i missed a valid step?

Hi Benjamin,

There is a bug in Eclipse where you can't run from .XML files. Open a .JAVA file and run your app from there.
