appdelegate vs viewdidload

i was curious if someone could give a brief explanation of why we set up the navigationBar style, tint etc in AppDelegate and why not in view did load. Do you always set the navBar properties in appDelegate or do you have a choice as to where you want to set these properties?

Thanks!

If you set the information in the App Delegate it goes through the whole app. If you do it in the viewDidLoad method it will only show for that view.
