applying for a job out-of-state

I have two years of professional experience and I am currently working as a software engineer at a company in Minnesota, and for family reason I will be relocating to San Francisco, CA this fall. Is it possible to apply and secure a job from MN before moving to CA? If yes, what are things I need to pay attention to and consider? any tips will be helpful.

Thanks

I would definitely apply before you move. Sometimes it takes a few weeks just to get an interview. Most companies do phone interviews before even doing the in-person interview. Best of luck.

Thanks Cindy. Do I need to put my current address on my resume or future address?
